Traditional Business vs. Network Marketing

Traditional Business
vs.
Network Marketing

We all get taught a traditional way of thinking when we grow up, which makes it difficult for us to get our head around the concept of Network Marketing. In my opinion, it's the main reason why most people either don't try or fail to build a successful Network Marketing business.

Marketing is beginning to take a turn in a different direction, leaving traditional methods and strategies behind. However, this doesn't mean that the old ways are going to disappear. Students currently working on degrees at MBA online accredited schools are getting the full scope of marketing education, which is now larger than ever before.

Let's take a look at a traditional business:
If we start a traditional business, we first invest a fair amount of money for the initial set-up. We take out a loan to buy inventory, goods to sell, maybe rent a warehouse and/or shopfront, office etc. However, we feel that we're progressing because we see things developing and taking shape, although we usually haven't had any income at this point. We actively need to run the business to make a profit so that we can pay back the loan with its interest before we're able to save money. Timeframes of 3 to 7 years are not uncommon.

Now, let's take a look at a Network Marketing business:
Anyone can start a Network Marketing business, in particular in Referral Marketing, without investing anything. Of course, products need to flow or it would not be a sustainable business or even illegal. But if we've chosen a business we're passionate about, we buy those products anyway, we've only chosen to buy from our loyalty merchants instead. A well designed business concept should offer products at competitive prices and should not ask for fees or product kits to buy. Now we're up and running.

The first few years we might not receive an executive income, but whatever we receive is profit and can be saved straight away - we don't have debts to repay or fixed expenses like a traditional business. We're already ahead and we'll stay ahead because the income we're building is passive income that continues to flow unlike a traditional business whose income goes to zero as soon as the business ceases to operate.

MLM Network Marketing

MLM Network Marketing is a business that is ready when you are – To the date direct sells has close to 100 Billion dollars in income the world over. The growth expectation is 13% until the year 2018. Just imagine getting .01% shares of this much money. But the potential earnings is only ½ of this equation.

frustrated MLM Network Marketing vs Traditional BusinessLet’s consider what needed to do to start-up traditional businesses:
1.    Employees
2.    Advertising
3.    Capital
4.    Equipment & Location
5.    Training
6.    Products
7.    Business Systems

Seems overwhelming doesn’t it?

In the MLM Network Marketing industry there’s no need to have location, employees or advertising. You have a business system and product and training is provided. You do need capital but compare to the traditional business, it’s quite minimal.

It cost thousands of dollars and countless hours to establish and set-up a well known franchise; not to mention the length of time it would take to actually start receiving an income.

Now imagine a business where all this is set-up and all you need is to buy in with a nominal fee to begin working. This is how and why you’re able to appreciate and grow in the MLM Network Marketing Business.

Network Marketing - Employees and Debt

Rather than having several employees working with other employees under one roof for the benefit of someone else's company, with a home business opportunity Network, we have a bunch of home business opportunity owners, working under their own roof, networking with other home-based business owners, all working for their own companies.
This concept provides an incentive and opportunity of multiplication and duplication for each home-based business owner equal to or greater than that of the owners of traditional businesses with multiple employees and locations, with out all the hassles associated with traditional businesses!
It requires no debt, no employees and no complicated administrative procedures. With Network Marketing, we work with and for other people and other people work with and for us.
